The ZDG has 13 members which are regional associations. In the light of Germany’s federal structure, these regional organisations are points of contact and representatives at Bundesland (federal state) level.

The members organised under the Geflügelwirtschaftsverband Brandenburg e.V. have extensive experience in the areas of poultry breeding, industrial poultry rearing, the marketing of chickens‘ eggs and broilers as well as the processing/refinement of poultry products.
The official mouthpiece of the Zentralverband der Deutschen Geflügelwirtschaft e.V. (ZDG) is the magazine for the poultry industry and the pig rearing sector.
When the ZMP stopped reporting, the publisher, Ulmer Verlag, took the initiative and established a service division in order to fill the gap and continue reporting on the egg and poultry sectors.
