Who we are
As a professional umbrella organisation, the Zentralverband der Deutschen Geflügelwirtschaft e.V. (ZDG) represents the interests of the German poultry industry at the political and official levels as well as in respect of professional organisations, the public and overseas countries, both at the national as well as the EU level. Our approx. 8,000 members are organised into regional and national associations.
The official mouthpiece of the Zentralverband der Deutschen Geflügelwirtschaft e.V. (ZDG) is the magazine for the poultry industry and the pig rearing sector.
When the ZMP stopped reporting, the publisher, Ulmer Verlag, took the initiative and established a service division in order to fill the gap and continue reporting on the egg and poultry sectors.
